SUCCESS

Success comes in many forms~small, big, & everywhere in between...

Big shots are only little shots who keep shooting. -Christopher Morley
Success in life is a matter not so much of talent or opportunity as of concentration and perseverance. -C.W. Wendte
In achieving success, backbone is more important than wishbone. -Frank Tyger
The secret of success of every man who has ever been successful lies in the fact that he formed the habit of doing those things that failures don't like to do. -A. Jackson King
The great high-road of human welfare lies along the old highway of steadfast well-doing; and they who are the most persistent, and work in the truest spirit, will invariably be the most successful; success treads on the heels of every right effort. -S. Smiles
Success usually comes to those who are too [productive] to be looking for it. -Henry David Thoreau
Success consists of a series of little daily victories. -Laddie F. Hutar
Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go. -William Feather
I've gone through life believing in the strength and competence of others; never in my own. Now, dazzled, I discovered that my capacities were real. It was like finding a fortune in the lining of an old coat. -John Mills

We can do anything we want to do if we stick to it long enough. -Helen Keller

There is only one success--to be able to spend your own life in your own way. -Christopher Morley

“Remember when you were at your best? Now be there again!” -unknown

...let's hear your's!

Where in the world do you want to go...really?

For all my travelers out there, this one is for YOU!  I know there are some people who never think about leaving the place they were born and raised, and there are others who have strong roots and big wings!  I tend to believe that no material thing can ever equal the price of having 'an experience of a lifetime' and multiple ones at that...ever day dream about going for a "walkabout" in the outback or petting a kangaroo and koala bear in Australia?  How 'bout eating Belgium waffles in, well Belgium, or having "high tea" in England?  Think about visiting all the amazing wineries in Napa Valley or kayaking through the incredible mountains of South Island, New Zealand?  Even weeding a taro plant field in Waipio Valley on Big Island, Hawaii after just getting back from hiking to a waterfall, simply because where else can you do that and who doesn't want to get muddy at least once in their life??  Or driving up Mauna Kea on the Big Island of HI to catch a sunset, going from shorts weather to a snow-capped mountain within an hour?  Riding horses on a beach in Antigua running full-speed ahead?  Getting your picture taken under the famous "Delicate Arch" in Arches National Park, Moab, Utah or watching Olde Faithful errupt in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming and everytime you see a picture of it in a calendar knowing, "I was there!"  How does watching a sunrise on the beaches of Kaui with your loved one, knowing there will never be a sunrise exactly like this one again?  The possibilities are endless...I strongly recommend to you, write down all the places you've ever wanted to travel to in the world.  Where do you want to go?

Personally, I could go for cruising through the Greek Islands, (stopping at as many as possible), going on a safari in South Africa, sipping some coffee in Paris with the Eiffel Tower out my hotel window, staying in a hut for a week on the water in Bora Bora, Fiji, or both, and hiking the Inca Trail (no monorail, thank you) to Machu Picchu in Peru for starters...

If wealth is made up of experiences, how rich do you want to be?  Make it happen~if there's a will, there's a way and with a vehicle like our business, anything is possible!

Chasing a dream...

I love how there are people who continue to chase their dreams, no matter how much the odds are stacked against them.  This year's 2011 Miss America, Teresa Scanlan, is the youngest one crowned such in 90 years!  Sources say she was given the hardest questions and scrutinized the most, and still she came through with flying colors.  With her smarts and beauty, Teresa is not only a wonderful example to so many ladies, but she also represents Artistry skin care and cosmetics exclusive to Amway (www.artistrybeauty.com).

Another lady, at the ripe age of 80 years old pursued a chance to sing in front of an audience like never before.  Check out this video...I gaurantee it will bring tears to your eyes.  My prayer for you, my friends, is that it doesn't take you this long to realize the song inside of you.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAwOZvvGsRs ...chase your dream no matter what the cost~no regrets!!

New Year's Eve with Friends

For New Year's Eve, we all rented a limo bus and went down to Penn's Landing (http://www.riverrink.com/), (delawareriverwaterfrontcorp.com) to enjoy some funny moments ice skating, eat mini-hogies, cookies, and hot chocolate, and be mesmerized by an awesome fireworks show.  Creating memories with people we love...can't put a price tag on that!
